Base from plant infusions - Patented infusion of a combination of 3 sideritis species

APIVITA replaces water with organic plant infusions which offer mainly antioxidant properties to its products. The effectiveness of the infusions selected each time is scientifically proven whereas their antioxidant effect and content in polyphenols is measured using scientific methods.

Over the past, APIVITA has been studying and using infusions from Greek plants and herbs with proven and excellent antioxidant properties, such as the patented infusion from 3 sideritis species (Sideritis Scardica, Sideritis Perfoliata, Sideritis Raeseri) contained in the Royal Honey shower gel. All 3 sideritis species are collected from organic crops on Mt. Olympus and offer antioxidant, moisturizing and sunscreen properties. The patented infusion of three types of Greek biological mountain tea:

• Activates sirtuins, which are proteins linked to anti-aging as they contribute to cell damage repair
• Activates aquaporins, water transfer channels, important to skin hydration 

Mild, sulphate and soap free cleansing system

APIVITA, respecting the dry and sensitive skin physiology, removes sulfates (SLES - Sodium Laureth Sulfate) and soap from the Royal Honey shower gel. SLES and soap are widely used cleansing agents due to their high foaming properties, but they have been associated with the appearance of skin irritation. We chose to use a mild cleansing system that respects skin physiology, restores skin lipids and leaves skin soft and hydrated.
