The new APIVITA hair masks are free of silicones, as these tend to accumulate in the environment and do not bio-disintegrate. APIVITA has replaced silicones with a new, innovative bio-disintegratable softening agent deriving from rapeseed oil. The use of this ingredient ensures high product performance in terms of hair care, including easier combing of damp and dry hair, antistatic effect, conformity to styling and satisfaction from the cosmetic texture after product application.

Even more natural

The percentage of natural ingredients has increased from 88%-95% to 96%-97% in the new APIVITA hair masks in comparison with the former hair masks. In addition, ingredients that are considered to be harmful for human health and/or the environment have been removed. These include silicone, PEG, butylene glycol as well as parabens, propylene glycol, phthalates, PCM, NM.

The new APIVITA hair masks are even more effective thanks to their rich composition and the Bio Cotton Protection System. The natural complex Bio Cotton Protection System is an exclusive innovation from the laboratories of APIVITA acting as a shield for both hair and scalp, as it strengthens and repairs the hair cuticle from damages (external factors, chemical processes and stress) that cause split ends and breakage. At the same time, it strengthens the natural defense mechanisms of the skin and scalp, maintains the balance of the bio-flora against external factors and enhances hair hydration and smoothness. Bio Cotton Protection System is a combination of three active ingredients of plant and biotechnological origin. More specifically, it consists of:

• Cotton bloom extract, a phyto-complex consisting of 7 oligosaccharides extracted from cotton honeydew and that include fructose, glucose, inositol, melezitose, saccharose, trehalose and trehalulose.
• Arginine, an amino acid that is vital to many metabolic processes.
• Bioeccolia, a prebiotic oligosaccharide obtained from natural sugars (sucrose and maltose) and formed through an enzymatic synthesis process.

Natural Infusion Cosmetic Base

In this formula, APIVITA has replaced water with an organic Greek rosemary infusion known for its toning and antioxidant benefits. Given that most cosmetics’ water content exceeds 70%, APIVITA products are antioxidant-rich in their base. The effectiveness of the infusions selected in each case is proven through scientific methods. Their antioxidant action is measured through the DPPH method and their polyphenol concentration through the Folin-Ciocalteau method. USE

- Apply on hair lengthwise after shampooing. Leave on for 3-5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

- Use the product once or twice per week, or as often as necessary.

- Avoid eye contact. For external use only.

- For even greater effectiveness, apply the mask on damp hair, wrap with a towel and leave on for 15 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
